Knox STEM Centre
Status: Proposal
The Knox STEM Centre is envisioned as a hub for learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The proposal reconfigures existing buildings at Knox Grammar to enclose the courtyard and establish a unified program that fosters communication and collaboration.
At the heart of the design, a jewel-like hub serves as a beacon of ideas—reflecting, refracting, and illuminating the surrounding crucible of activity. The scheme employs mass timber construction as a cost-effective, modular system, enabling a staged delivery that ensures the campus remains fully operational throughout Stage 1 construction.
